Confident Camper Foundation will offer a ACA Level 1 Kayak Instructor course June 3 – 6* at Bald Eagle State Park. The course will be taught by Steven Henkind, an ACA certified Instructor Trainer.
This certification is valid for 4 years and is accepted by organizations such as Girl Scouts and Scouting America for providing kayak instruction to groups. This certification meets the formal training requirement for Scouting America Kayaking Merit Badge counselors. ACA instructors are also able to utilize American Canoe Association insurance when teaching ACA courses.
We will spend some time on shore but mostly we will be on or
in the water. Please dress appropriately for both the weather
